When my Phalaenopsis is finished blooming,
do I cut the spike back?
Yes, if you would like your plant to grow faster, cut the stem
all the way down at the base.
If you would like the plant to re-blooms on the same stem,
cut stem just ahead of the first flower on the stem, above a
node.
Make sure to do this before the stem gets old and turns white.
