What's with all these limp leaves on my Phalaenopsis plant?
If that’s the case there has not been sufficient water getting
up into the leaves-that’s why they are limp.
It is due to one of two reasons.
Generally speaking, that is has an insufficient food system
to support the leaves-this may be due to the fact that some
roots have rotted or decayed and the plant doesn’t have enough
water to keep it’s leaves stiff.
Another reason might be that it has lots of roots but there
have been long pauses in its watering schedule
The Plant has simply dried out from that lack of water or due
to that reason.
Old potting mix that’s older than 2 years old can be very rotted
and not form enough air around the roots and stays to wet and
soggy and the roots may die causing limp leaves.
