No, you cannot do that.
An old method to raise orchid from seed comes from the 19th
century England. They sometimes scattered seeds from ripe pods
over the material that the mother plant was growing in and many
times a few plants sprouted that way.
When they did, they grew very fast, otherwise they would not
sprout in other circumstances like that.
